How to find the event ID

Updated: 20/04/15

  • Each event you create on Eventbrite has its own unique ID number that you can use with our API or a third-party widget. To locate your event's ID number, just go to the Manage, Edit, or Design page for your event. The event ID number is located in the URL in the address bar when you're on one of these pages. For example, the URL "" shows the event ID number, "eid=16160132391".

Go to your event's Manage or Edit page.

After you log into your Eventbrite account, find your event on the My Events page, then select Manage or Edit. Your event ID is located on both these pages.

My Events is the third option in the accout menu, and the Manage and Edit links are located beneath your event's name.

Tip: You can also locate your event's ID number on the Design page for your event.

Your event ID number is located in the URL in the address bar.

Look to the URL in the address bar when you're on the event's Manage, Edit, or Design page. Your event's ID number is the set of digits after eid=.

Example: Adrienne needs her event ID number to sync event information to a third-party ticket widget and give people the latest event details on her website. She goes to her event's Manage page and looks at the URL in the address bar to locate her event's ID number, which is 16160132391.

Tip: You can also find your event's ID number in the URL when viewing your event listing on Eventbrite. You don't even have to be logged in.

Use your event ID number with our API or a third-party widget.

Copy your event's ID number to use with Eventbrite's API or a third-party widget (like a ticket or calendar widget). Our public event data is available without cost, and it's a great solution to access rich event data.

Tip: New to using Eventbrite's API? Check out our Developer site to help you get started.
